Pragpur, India’s first heritage village lies in the Dhauladhar mountain ranges of Kangra valley, Himachal Pradesh. This beautiful village holds the ancient well preserved architecture. The famous Kangra School of painting has its base here in this village. Prag in Sanskrit translates to pollen. In a way it aptly describes the area of Pragpur which in spring is afire with blossoms.
